After that she began working in the corporate programming department of a broadcast group where she analyzed researched and developed music formats for radio stations in major US markets and even a station in Paris.

She eventually became the music director of a rhythmic station in Boston before becoming the music director and ultimately the program director of Power 106 in Los Angeles, a hip hop station consistently #1 in the ratings. She became a freelance writer for local lifestyle publications and moved to Bend, Oregon. She was an early adopter of social media and began ramping up her knowledge quickly to help grow her own marketing business for many different industries, including education.
